Allergen Prompt

The allergen prompt is displayed to all guests using the White Label App and /or Web Ordering, reminding customers to ensure that any guests with allergens place their orders in person with a member of staff.

If enabled, guests using White Label App or Web Ordering will be shown the prompt when navigating to the available menus page of their chosen order mode. Users will not be able to proceed with their ordering journey unless they dismiss the prompt. If they say that they do have an allergen, they will be shown a message (configurable in the platform) advising them on next steps.

Navigate to App Manager

Follow these steps to add an allergen prompt:

  1. Click Configure Style

  2. From the General / App tab navigate to Allergen Prompt | expand the section

  3. Select the check box for Show Allergen Prompt

    The prompt is a global setting so if enabled, it will show on all order modes, all sites and sales areas
  4. Configure the text for each ordering mode as required

    Only those order modes configured will be displayed, if in future an order mode is added the text should be updated for added mode
  5. Click Save Changes

The text of the prompt is also hard-coded, showing the following:
